I happened upon some 25 cent a pound bananas today at Harris Teeter so I bought 2 big bunches. I think it may be about 2 years since I last saw them that cheap. Anyhow I put them in the green bags and we'll see.. I figure if they do start to get too brown before we eat them I can always toss them in the freezer, skin and all. That way I will have them on hand to baking with. I've also started some peaches in green bags and MORE japanese eggplant--sheesh! I'm starting to dream about eggplant!
