Freedom Of Choice? Founding Principle?

I was just watching an old You Tube video in which Obama promises the folks at Planned Parenthood that the culture war, being 'so 90's' is pretty much going to be over in his administration. He says he will sign FOCA the freedom of choice act. Well-- I started to read this act, and I thought, hmmm... right away it says this:

(1) The United States was founded on core
2 principles, such as liberty, personal privacy, and
3 equality, which ensure that individuals are free to
4 make their most intimate decisions without govern5
mental interference and discrimination.


Gosh.. wasn't there a founding document once in this country that said this:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness...


I guess that FOCA act isn't concerned with that first unalienable right.

Of course privacy is more important because in the dark, in private, where nobody can see what is happening--that is truly where evil prefers to be.
